Angiographic enigma: A single coronary artery with the right coronary artery originating from the distal left circumflex artery

An isolated single coronary artery (SCA) is a rare anomaly. A SCA originating from the left sinus of Valsalva is even rarer than one arising from the right. Most patients with a congenital coronary artery anomaly are asymptomatic.

Coronary artery disease with single coronary artery.

The authors have reviewed the literature in search of the coexistence of single coronary artery with significant coronary artery disease. Two cases of single right coronary artery are described. In both, the anomalies were unsuspected and diagnosed roentgenographically in life.

Polymer‐Based Multiparameter Sensing Integrated Photonic Chip for Health Monitoring

A monolithic integrated photonic chip simultaneously measures blood glucose, pressure, temperature, ECG, and sweat glucose. Combining multiple Bragg grating sensors, Mach–Zehnder modulators, and an on–‐chip demodulation unit, this compact chip (1 cm × 0.5 cm) offers robust multiparameter detection.
