High-Pressure Single-Crystal X-Ray Diffraction Study of ErVO4. [PDF]
We present an investigation into the crystal structure of ErVO4 under variable pressure conditions. The high-pressure single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiments performed employing helium as the pressure medium facilitated structure refinements up to 24.1(2) GPa. The transition from zircon to scheelite was observed at a pressure of 7.9(1) GPa.

Characterisation and Study of Compounds by Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction
A few years after the discovery in 1895 of X-rays by Röntgen, the first successful experiment single crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) was reported by Laue, Friedrich, and Knipping [...]

Probing single crystal orientation by X-ray diffraction for nickel-based superalloys
The deviation angles of Ni-based single crystal superalloys are investigated by two techniques of rotating orientation X-ray diffraction (RO-XRD) and back-reflection Laue X-ray diffraction (BRL-XRD).

Accurate crystal structure of ice VI from X-ray diffraction with Hirshfeld atom refinement
Water is an essential chemical compound for living organisms, and twenty of its different crystal solid forms (ices) are known. Still, there are many fundamental problems with these structures such as establishing the correct positions and thermal ...

X-ray Diffraction of Photonic Colloidal Single Crystals [PDF]
We have resolved a great number of Bragg peaks of photonic colloidal single crystals by synchrotron small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). We find that charge-stabilized colloids form face-centered cubic crystals at all densities up to ∼60 vol %. The colloidal particles are highly ordered on their lattice sites, which confirms that these self-organizing ...

Analysis on the Growth and Characterization of a Non-linear Optical Single Crystal: L-Cystine Dihydrobromide [PDF]
Nonlinear optical single crystals of L-cystine dihydrobromide (LCHB) have been grown by slow evaporation method. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the crystal system and lattice parameter values.
