Simultaneous X-ray diffraction from multiple single crystals of macromolecules
The potential in macromolecular crystallography for using multiple crystals to collect X-ray diffraction data simultaneously from assemblies of up to seven crystals is explored. The basic features of the algorithms used to extract data and their practical implementation are described.

Single Crystal Growth of Skutterudite CoP3 under High Pressure
A new method to grow single crystals of skutterudite compounds is examined. Using a wedge-type, cubic-anvil, high-pressure apparatus, single crystals of CoP3 were grown from stoichiometric melts under a pressure of 3.5 GPa.

Lattice Deformation Measurement under Shock Wave Loading by Pulsed X-ray Diffraction
Shock of condensed matter is ubiquitous in nature, yet a full understanding of the response when shock waves propagate into solids is still lacking because of a lack of real-time microstructural data. Pulsed X-ray diffraction technique is being developed

Redetermination of the γ-form of tellurium dioxide
The crystal structure of γ-TeO2 was redetermined on the basis of single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The previous structure determination of this modification was based on laboratory powder X-ray diffraction data [Champarnaud-Mesjard et al. (2000). J.
