Fast Single Image Super-Resolution.

open access: yesCoRR, 2018
This paper addresses the problem of single image super-resolution (SR), which consists of recovering a high resolution image from its blurred, decimated and noisy version. The existing algorithms for single image SR use different strategies to handle the decimation and blurring operators.

Lightweight Reference-Based Video Super-Resolution Using Deformable Convolution

open access: yesInformation
Super-resolution is a technique for generating a high-resolution image or video from a low-resolution counterpart by predicting natural and realistic texture information.

Super-Resolution with compressively sensed MR/PET signals at its input

open access: yesInformatics in Medicine Unlocked, 2020
The aim of this paper is to present a highly effective Magnetic Resonance Imaging- Positron Emission Tomography (MR/PET) image reconstruction strategy allowing for simultaneous resolution enhancing and scanning time minimisation.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Improving a Single Down-Sampled Image Using Probability-Filtering-Based Interpolation and Improved Poisson Maximum A Posteriori Super-Resolution

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2006
We present a novel hybrid scheme called "hyper-resolution" that integrates image probability-filtering-based interpolation and improved Poisson maximum a posteriori (MAP) super-resolution to respectively enhance high spatial and spatial-frequency ...

A Sparse Analysis-Based Single Image Super-Resolution

open access: yesComputers, 2019
In the current study, we were inspired by sparse analysis signal representation theory to propose a novel single-image super-resolution method termed “sparse analysis-based super resolution” (SASR).
