Reactive Object Tracking with a Single PTZ Camera

2010 20th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2010
In this paper we describe a novel approach to reactive tracking of moving targets with a pan-tilt-zoom camera. The approach uses an extended Kalman filter to jointly track the object position in the real world, its velocity in 3D and the camera intrinsics, in addition to the rate of change of these parameters.

Towards Universal Physical Attacks on Single Object Tracking

Proceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2021
Recent studies show that small perturbations in video frames could misguide single object trackers. However, such attacks have been mainly designed for digital-domain videos (i.e., perturbation on full images), which makes them practically infeasible to evaluate the adversarial vulnerability of trackers in real-world scenarios.

A Method of Stable Long-Term Single Object Tracking

2021 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME), 2021
We propose a stable long-term tracking method to deal with visual tracking in multiple complex scenarios to solve the problem of frequent disappearance and reappearance of targets in long-term tracking. In our method, we do not blindly start the global tracker once the target disappears, but use it only when necessary and in reasonable scope with the ...

Multi-Object Tracking with Single Camera

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015
Multi-object tracking has been a challenging topic in computer vision. A Simple and efficient moving multi-object tracking algorithm is proposed. A new tracking method combined with trajectory prediction and a sub-block matching is used to handle the objects occlusion. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance.

Robust Single Object Tracking and Following by Fusion Strategy

Proceedings of the 20th International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics, 2023
Single Object Tracking methods are yet not robust enough because they may lose the target due to occlusions or changes in the target’s appearance, and it is difficult to detect automatically when they fail. To deal with these problems, we design a novel method to improve object tracking by fusing complementary types of trackers, taking advantage of ...

ClickTrack: Towards real-time interactive single object tracking

open access: yesPattern Recognition
Single object tracking(SOT) relies on precise object bounding box initialization. In this paper, we reconsidered the deficiencies in the current approaches to initializing single object trackers and propose a new paradigm for single object tracking algorithms, ClickTrack, a new paradigm using clicking interaction for real-time scenarios.
