Single-Person Households and Crime
Korean Journal of Law and Economics, 2020본 연구는 주요한 인구구조 변화인 1인 가구의 급속한 증가와 1인 가구의 특성이 범죄에 취약한 환경을 조성할 수 있는 점에 근거하여 1인 가구의 증가가 범죄에 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. 이를 위해 우리나라 행정구역 시 · 군 · 구에 대한 2000년, 2005년, 2010년, 2015-2017년의 총 6개 연도 지역패널자료를 구축하여 특정 지역에서 1인 가구가 증가할 때 해당 지역의 살인 · 강도 · 성범죄 · 절도 · 폭력 범죄를 포함하는 주요 범죄인 5대 범죄가 얼마나 증가하는지 확인하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다.
