Universal Single-Stage Grid-Connected Inverter

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 2008
A new single-stage grid-connected inverter, suitable for distributed generation applications, is proposed. The inverter is universal in the sense that it can be switched between buck, boost, and buck--boost configurations by appropriately altering the pulse width modular (PWM) control.

Multimode Modulation With ZVS for a Single-Phase Single-Stage Inverter

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2020
This article presents a modulation with zero-voltage switching (ZVS) for a single-phase, single-stage inverter intended for photovoltaic applications. In single-stage inverters, the dc-ac conversion stage is merged with the active power pulsation buffer stage.

A Single-Phase Single-Stage Switched-Boost Inverter With Four Switches

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2018
This paper proposes a new single-phase single-stage switched-boost inverter with four switches. Like the quasi-Z-source inverter and quasi-switched boost inverter (qSBI), the proposed inverter has the main features as continuous input current, buck/boost voltage with single-stage conversion, and shoot-through immunity.

A Single-Stage Bimodal Transformerless Inverter with Common-Ground and Buck-Boost Features

open access: yesElectronics (Switzerland), 2023
This paper proposes a single-phase, single-stage common-ground inverter with a non-electrolytic capacitor and buck-boost ability. The proposed single-stage inverter is employed by a boost stage DC-DC converter and bimodal circuit, which makes it ...

A Four-Switch Single-Stage Single-Phase Buck–Boost Inverter

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2017
This paper proposes a single-phase, single-stage buck–boost inverter for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The presented topology has one common terminal in input and output ports which eliminates common mode leakage current problem in the grid-connected PV applications.

An Adaptive Slope Compensation for the Single-Stage Inverter With Peak Current-Mode Control

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2011
This letter develops a mathematical model of the slope compensation for a single-stage inverter with peak current-mode control. The model proves that the single-stage inverter with peak current-mode control will be unconditionally stable only if a slope ...

Research on Single-Stage Flyback Inverter

IEEE 36th Conference on Power Electronics Specialists, 2005., 2006
In this paper, a novel flyback inverter is proposed. It is composed of two basic bi-directional flyback converters, which can operate independently. This circuit can fulfil the isolation, transformation and the control of output performance simultaneously. It only includes four power switches, and the inductor of output filter is eliminated.

High gain single stage inverter

2017 International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT), 2017
The two stage conversion system is to supply power from a low input source to the high voltage output load incorporating, a chopper along with an inverter. Single stage transferring systems (SSCSs) are formed by including both inverter and chopper conversion systems.
