Analysis of hyper-singular, fractional, and order-zero singular integral operators [PDF]
In this article, we conduct a study of integral operators defined in terms of non-convolution type kernels with singularities of various degrees. The operators that fall within our scope of research include fractional integrals, fractional derivatives, pseudodifferential operators, Calder\'on-Zygmund operators, and many others. The main results of this

A hybrid system for de‐icing made of gradient polymer coatings, deposited on aluminum coupled with an electromechanical system, is demonstrated as an effective and durable strategy for reducing drastically ice adhesion. The system is capable of detaching ice blocks over the coating in less than 1 s, regardless of the ice type and covered area ...

$L^p$ bounds for singular integrals and maximal singular integrals with rough kernels [PDF]
Convolution type Calder\'on-Zygmund singular integral operators with rough kernels $\pv \Om(x)/|x|^n$ are studied. A condition on $\Om$ implying that the corresponding singular integrals and maximal singular integrals map $L^p \to L^p$ for $1
COMMUTATORS OF SINGULAR INTEGRAL OPERATORS
where x, y are points in n-dimensional Euclidean space R" and k(x) is a homogeneous function of degree -n with mean value zero on xl = 1, and let B(f) = b(x)f(x). It is well known (see ref. 1) that if k anid b are sufficiently smooth and b is bounded, then (AB BA)(0/0ax) and (0/ax) (AB BA) are bounded operators in Lp ...

Current Trends and Future Perspective for Cold Spray Metal‐Ceramic Composites
The use of cold spray (CS) technology for creating cermet deposits, combining ceramic and metallic components, is advancing rapidly. Cermets offer excellent temperature handling and erosion resistance for diverse applications. This review outlines the current state of the art, focusing on the deposition dynamics and strategies to optimize the ...

Bounds for singular fractional integrals and related Fourier integral operators [PDF]
We prove sharp L^p-L^q endpoint bounds for singular fractional integral operators and related Fourier integral operators, under the nonvanishing rotational curvature assumption.

Multiple Weighted Estimates for Multilinear Commutators of Multilinear Singular Integrals with Generalized Kernels [PDF]
In this paper, the weighted Lp boundedness of multilinear commutators and iterated commutators of multilinear singular integral operators with generalized kernels is established, where the weight is multiple weight. Our results are generalizations of the corresponding results for multilinear singular integral operators with standard kernels and Dini ...

A Different Perspective on the Solid Lubrication Performance of Black Phosphorous: Friend or Foe?
Researchers investigate black phosphorous (BP) as a standalone solid lubricant coating through ball‐on‐disc linear‐reciprocating sliding experiments in dry conditions. Testing on different metals shows BP doesn't universally reduce friction and wear. However, it achieves 33% friction reduction on rougher iron surfaces and 23% wear reduction on aluminum.
