On a Local Mean Oscillation Decomposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this note we generate two local median oscillation decompositions of an arbitrary measurable function and discuss some applications to Calder\'{o}n-Zygmund singular integral operators $T$. These applications rely on the inequality $M^{\sharp}_{0,s}(Tf)

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Multi-parameter singular integral operators and representation theorem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We formulate a class of singular integral operators in arbitrarily many parameters using mixed type characterizing conditions. We also prove a multi-parameter representation theorem saying that a general operator in our class can be represented as an ...

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Weighted inequalities for singular integral operators on the half-line [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We prove weighted estimates for singular integral operators which operate on function spaces on a half-line. The class of admissible weights includes Muckenhoupt weights and weights satisfying Sawyer's one-sided conditions.

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Algebraic Properties of Cauchy Singular Integral Operators on the Unit Circle

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper we study algebraic properties of singular integral operators with Cauchy kernel on the $L^{2}$ space of the unit circle. We give an operator equation characterization for this class of Cauchy singular integral operators.

The Aging Blood: Cellular Origins, Circulating Drivers, and Therapeutic Potential

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
As a conduit linking all organs, the blood system both reflects and actively drives systemic aging. This review highlights how circulating pro‐aging and antiaging factors and age‐associated hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction contribute to immunosenescence and multi‐organ decline, positioning the hematopoietic system as a target for aging intervention.
