Plasma‐assisted hybrid friction stir welding of dissimilar AlCu joints employs localized plasma preheating to balance heat input and enhance plastic flow. The optimized process reduces axial force by up to 35%, refines the microstructure, and achieves ≈96% joint efficiency.

A study of the application of singular perturbation theory [PDF]
A hierarchical real time algorithm for optimal three dimensional control of aircraft is described. Systematic methods are developed for real time computation of nonlinear feedback controls by means of singular perturbation theory. The results are applied

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Axiomatic Approach in the Analytic Theory of Singular Perturbations
Introduced by S.A. Lomov, the concept of a pseudoanalytic (pseudoholomorphic) solution laid the foundation for the development of the singular perturbation analytical theory.

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

Coating the standard polypropylene separator with a porous red phosphorous nanosheet greatly improves cycling performance in Li electrode cells. The phosphorus‐based surface chemistry deactivates electrolyte solvent decomposition and enhances the cleavage of F‐containing salt, resulting in an inorganic‐dominated electrolyte interphase (SEI) composition

Singular Perturbation of Nonlinear Systems with Regular Singularity
We extend Balser-Kostov method of studying summability properties of a singularly perturbed inhomogeneous linear system with regular singularity at origin to nonlinear systems of the form εzf′=Fε,z,f with F a Cν-valued function, holomorphic in a polydisc
