A new algorithm in singular spectrum analysis framework:The Overlap-SSA (ov-SSA)
The Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) is powerful method, capable of working with arbitrary statistical process and it is adaptive to the underlaying data.

Singular spectrum analysis-based image sub-band decomposition filter banks
This paper presents a novel type of a filter bank for image decomposition that incorporates “singular spectrum analysis” (SSA). SSA is based on “singular value decomposition” (SVD).The presented filter banks provide good directional selectivity. Sub-band

Window Length Selection and Signal-Noise Separation and Reconstruction in Singular Spectrum Analysis [PDF]
In Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) window length is a critical tuning parameter that must be assigned by the practitioner. This paper provides a theoretical analysis of signal-noise separation and reconstruction in SSA that can serve as a guide to ...

Entropy‐Driven Design of Low‐Melting‐Point Alloys via Compositionally Complex Strategy
Conventional low‐melting‐point alloys (LMPAs) are limited by a narrow compositional space and inherent property trade‐offs. This review presents an entropy‐driven design strategy that overcomes these limitations, ushering in a new class of low‐melting‐point compositionally complex alloys (LMCCAs).

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Trace formulae and singular values of resolvent power differences of self-adjoint elliptic operators [PDF]
In this note self-adjoint realizations of second order elliptic differential expressions with non-local Robin boundary conditions on a domain Ω⊂Rn with smooth compact boundary are studied. A Schatten--von Neumann type estimate for the singular values of

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

The South Atlantic Dipole via multichannel singular spectrum analysis
This study analyzes coupled atmosphere–ocean variability in the South Atlantic Ocean. To do so, we characterize the spatio-temporal variability of annual mean sea-surface temperature (SST) and sea-level pressure (SLP) using Multichannel Singular Spectrum

On the singular values decoupling in the Singular Spectrum Analysis of volcanic tremor at Stromboli [PDF]
The well known strombolian activity at Stromboli volcano is occasionally interrupted by rarer episodes of paroxysmal activity which can lead to considerable hazard for Stromboli inhabitants and tourists. On 5 April 2003 a powerful explosion, which can be
