Over time, various forecasting methods have been introduced. An example is the Hybrid model. This model can enhance the forecast accuracy compared to a single model. The Hybrid Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA)-Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model combines the concepts of decomposition and forecasting.

ABSTRACT Accurate load forecasting and reliable anomaly detection are critical for the stable operation of modern smart grids (SGs), which increasingly rely on cyber‐connected infrastructures. However, the integration of smart metres and two‐way communication exposes SGs to data integrity attacks that can manipulate consumption measurements, degrade ...

Missing Values in Time Series: A Brief Review and a New Versatile Imputation Method
Summary Missing data can significantly hamper standard time series analysis, yet they occur frequently in applications. In this paper, we briefly review some available methods for handling missing values and introduce the temporal Wasserstein imputation, a novel method for imputing missing data in time series.

Research background: Financial cycles are behind many deep financial crises and it closely connects them with the business cycles, showing long memory properties and effects. Being closely connected with the business cycles, we must first explore the true nature of the financial cycles to understand the nature of the business cycles.

The Accuracy Smoothness Dilemma in Prediction: A Novel Multivariate M‐SSA Forecast Approach
ABSTRACT Forecasting presents a complex estimation challenge, as it involves balancing multiple, often conflicting, priorities and objectives. Conventional forecast optimization methods typically emphasize a single metric, such as minimizing the mean squared error (MSE), which may neglect other crucial aspects of predictive performance. To address this

An SSA-SARIMA-GSVR Hybrid Model Based on Singular Spectrum Analysis for O3-CPM Prediction
Ozone density at cold-point mesopause (O3-CPM) can provide information on long-term atmospheric trends. Compared to ground-level ozone, O3-CPM is not only adversely affected by chemical substances emitted from human activities but is also regulated by solar radiation. Therefore, an accurate prediction of O3-CPM is necessary.
