Multidimensional‐Encoded High‐Fidelity Spectrometers With a Floating‐Base Bipolar Junction
A floating‐base bipolar junction photodetector enables multidimensional spectral encoding through synergistic gate‐ and drain‐bias modulation of interfacial barrier matching. The resulting complementary spectral responses form a diverse, weakly correlated response matrix, enabling robust and high‐fidelity spectral reconstruction even at sub‐nanoampere ...

Singular vector spaces for computing the structured distance to singularity
Finding the distance to singularity for a matrix is a ubiquitous problem in numerical linear algebra, and is elegantly solved by the Eckart-Young-Mirsky theorem. Its structured variant naturally emerges when one considers structured matrices, and wants to preserve their structure.

Evidence for Itinerant Ferromagnetic Flat Bands Producing Large Transverse Responses
Itinerant ferromagnetic flat bands are demonstrated in GdCo5 with a high Curie temperature of 940K, a stacked honeycomb–kagome lattice, through angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy and magneto‐thermoelectric measurements. These topological flat bands generate large Berry curvaturte, producing gigantic anomalous Nernst effect with record‐high ...

Convergence of Singular Vectors toward Lyapunov Vectors
The rate at which the leading singular vectors converge toward a single pattern for increasing optimization times is examined within the context of a T21 L3 quasigeostrophic model. As expected, the final-time backward singular vectors converge toward the backward Lyapunov vector, while the initial-time forward singular vectors converge toward the ...

Cloud detection for MIPAS using singular vector decomposition [PDF]
Satellite-borne high-spectral-resolution limb sounders, such as the Michelson Interferometer for Passive Atmospheric Sounding (MIPAS) onboard ENVISAT, provide information on clouds, especially optically thin clouds, which have been difficult to observe ...

Homoclinic orbits and Lie rotated vector fields
Based on the definition of Lie rotated vector fields in the plane, this paper gives the property of homoclinic orbit as parameter is changed and the singular points are fixed on Lie rotated vector fields.

Role of the Recombination Zone in Organic Light‐Emitting Devices
This review summarizes the critical role of the recombination zone in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). We highlight that broadening the recombination zone in OLEDs based on emissive layers with balanced charge transport and high photoluminescence quantum yields provides a promising route toward achieving both long operational lifetime and high ...

SINGULAR RANDOM MATRIX DECOMPOSITIONS: DISTRIBUTIONS. [PDF]
Assuming that Y has a singular matrix variate elliptically contoured distribution with respect to the Hausdorff measure, the distributions of several matrices associated to QR, modified QR, SV and Polar decompositions of matrix Y are determined, for ...

SINGULAR RANDOM MATRIX DECOMPOSITIONS: JACOBIANS. [PDF]
For a singular random matrix Y, we find the Jacobians associated with the following decompositions; QR, Polar, Singular Value (SVD), L´U, L´DM and modified QR (QDR).
