Sudden future singularities [PDF]
Classical and Quantum Gravity, 2004 We show that a singularity can occur at a finite future time in an expanding Friedmann universe even when the density is positive and the density plus the sum of the principal pressures is positive. Explicit examples are constructed and a simple condition is given which can be used to eliminate behaviour of this sort if it is judged to be unphysical.

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.CLOCK, BMAL1, and HIFs are basic helix‐loop‐helix and Per‐Arnt‐Sim domain (bHLH‐PAS) proteins, which function as transcription factors. bHLH‐PAS proteins are designated in two classes. Many class I proteins are regulated by environmental signals via their PAS domains, but such signals have not been identified for all.

On the boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations with isolated singularity
Lietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys, 2005 We consider some two-point boundary value problems for second order o.d.e. with strong singularity. The asymptotics of the solutions at the singular point are given. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions of those problems are prooved.
