Signal singularity analysis.

Summary: From the definition of Lipschitz singularity, a simple method is proposed to calculate the Lipschitz exponent by the characteristics of the singularities between signal and noise. According to calculate the Lipschitz exponent of each modulus maxima, we can distinguish the signal points from the noise points.

Analysis and Geometric Singularities

2012
This is a report on the Oberwolfach conference “Analysis and Geometric Singularities”, May 6-12, 2012. The main themes discussed in the meeting include the interplay between the analytic, geometric and topological study of singular spaces and noncompact spaces highly regular structure at infinity and asymptotic analysis of global spectral invariants ...

Analysis and Geometric Singularities

2007
This workshop focused on several main areas of current research concerning analysis on singular and noncompact spaces. Topics included classical areas like spectral asymptotics, propagation of singularities and scattering theory, index theory on singular spaces, exotic characteristic classes, boundary value problems, surgery formulae adiabatic limits ...

Spectral Analysis of Singularities

1979
In Chapter VII we have seen that a distribution u of compact support is smooth if and only if the Fourier transform u is rapidly decreasing. If u is not smooth we can use the set of directions where u is not rapidly decreasing to describe which are the high frequency components of u causing the singularities.

Analysis and Geometric Singularities

2010
The Conference on “Analysis and Geometric Singularities” took place from June 27 to July 3, 2010 and had 53 participants. The organization of the meeting followed the well-established scheme, providing plenty of discussion time which was intensely used, especially by the young participants. The four survey talks were given by Gilles Carron, Jean-Michel

Generalized Singularity Analysis

2019
In this chapter, we consider kinematic singularity in a mechanism as a deviance or abnormality in its instantaneous kinematics. A configuration is said to be regular if in it there is a proper relationship between the input, output, and passive velocities of the mechanism.
