Robust Spectral and Energy Efficiency Tradeoff for RIS‐Aided Multi‐User Communication

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
In this work, an RIS‐aided multi‐user network with imperfect CSI is investigated. Correspondingly, we focus on balancing SE and EE through the collaborative design of the base station (BS)'s precoding matrix and the RIS's phase shifts, which consider the transmit power budget and the channel uncertainties constraints.

A Massive Grant‐Free Random Access Scheme Based on Spectrum Sensing and Preamble Delay

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper introduces cognitive radio (CR) and preamble delay (PD) to reduce access collisions, together with non‐orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to improve spectrum efficiency, and thus proposes an efficient CR‐NOMA‐PD‐based massive grant‐free random multiple access scheme.

Improving the eNodeB Coverage of a Bad Spot Area by Using A Relay Node

open access: yesIJAIT (International Journal of Applied Information Technology), 2018
The quality of LTE (Long Term Evolution) network in WR Supratman Street, Bandung is categorized as quite bad as shown by the average RSRP (Reference Signal Receive) and SINR (Signal to Interference Noise Ratio) values of -101.30 dBm and 2.43 dB ...

SinR controls enterotoxin expression in Bacillus thuringiensis biofilms.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
The entomopathogen Bacillus thuringiensis produces dense biofilms under various conditions. Here, we report that the transition phase regulators Spo0A, AbrB and SinR control biofilm formation and swimming motility in B.

Interception of Signals With Very Weak SINR

open access: yesIEEE Access
To protect our receivers against spoofing, intrusion or simply reduce interference, we proposed a multi-layered architecture which can be integrated into a receiver chain by modifying the analog and digital parts. Indeed, Our project addresses analog circuits coupled with digital approaches to immunize a radio against any intentional electromagnetic ...

Transport characteristics of a silicene nanoribbon on Ag(110)

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, 2017
We present the transport characteristics of individual silicene nanoribbons (SiNRs) grown on Ag(110). By lifting up a single SiNR with a low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope tip, a nanojunction consisting of tip, SiNR and Ag is fabricated.
