Time-resolved point dosimetry for spread-out Bragg-peak proton FLASH using fibre-coupled scintillators. [PDF]
Abstract Background In FLASH radiotherapy, the dose is delivered using ultra‐high dose rates (UHDR), which are approximately 100 times higher than those used for conventional (CONV) treatments. This has shown promise in sparing normal tissue while maintaining tumour control.

Gain stabilisation of SiPMs [PDF]
The gain G of SiPMs depends both on bias voltage and on temperature. For stable operation in large detector systems, gain needs to be kept constant. This can be achieved by readjusting the bias voltage with temperature. We have built an adaptive bias voltage regulator (ADApower) that uses a linear algorithm to adjust the bias voltage V if the ...

Radiation damage uniformity in a SiPM
A dedicated single-cell SiPM structure is designed and measured to investigate the radiation damage effects on the gain and breakdown voltage of SiPMs exposed to a reactor neutron fluence up to $Φ$ = 5e13 cm$^{-2}$. The cell has a pitch of 15 $μ$m. Results of the measurements and analysis of the IV-curves are presented.

Uncertainty-aware gamma interaction localization and reconstruction in PET. [PDF]
Abstract Background Precise localization of gamma‐ray interactions inside scintillation detectors is essential for high‐resolution positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. Although machine learning methods have demonstrated strong performance in gamma interaction positioning, most existing approaches do not quantify event‐level uncertainty, leaving ...

Characterisation of SiPM Photon Emission in the Dark [PDF]
In this paper, we report on the photon emission of Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPMs) from avalanche pulses generated in dark conditions, with the main objective of better understanding the associated systematics for next-generation, large area, SiPM-based physics experiments.

A Comparison of VLC Receivers That Incorporate Two Different SiPMs
Previously, when selecting silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) for use in visible light communications (VLC) systems the bandwidth of the SiPM has been a high priority.

Modelling and Image Reconstruction Evaluation of a Scintillation Camera with Silicone Photomultiplier [PDF]
Background: Recent research on photon detection has led to the introduction of a silicone photomultiplier (SiPM) that operates at a low voltage and is insensitive to magnetic fields.
