A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Interannual breeding site fidelity in eastern wild turkey flocks
Understanding space use during key life‐history periods is critical to understanding demographic outcomes of most species. For gregarious species, similar space is often shared by individuals and across generations during these key periods.

A Framework for Rapid Mid-Fidelity Prototyping of Web Sites [PDF]
This paper presents a prototyping framework situated mid-way between low fidelity and high fidelity. The framework is used after requirements definition and early design but before development. The approach provides a solution to the classical trade-off between the ease of production associated with low-fidelity approaches and the realism associated ...

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Site fidelity of male roe deer in a Mediterranean fragmented area
Abstract We present data on site fidelity based on 7 adult male roe deer Capreolus capreolus (L.), which were studied for two years (March 1999-February 2001) by radiotelemetry.

Melting of Discrete Vortices via Quantum Fluctuations
We consider nonlinear boson states with a nontrivial phase structure in the three-site Bose-Hubbard ring, {\em quantum discrete vortices} (or {\em q-vortices}), and study their "melting" under the action of quantum fluctuations.

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

Ground-state properties of the two-site Hubbard-Holstein model: an exact solution
We revisit the two-site Hubbard-Holstein model by using extended phonon coherent states. The nontrivial singlet bipolaron is studied exactly in the whole coupling regime.
