Retroviral Integration Site Selection [PDF]

open access: yesViruses, 2010
The stable insertion of a copy of their genome into the host cell genome is an essential step of the life cycle of retroviruses. The site of viral DNA integration, mediated by the viral-encoded integrase enzyme, has important consequences for both the ...

Site-selective dynamics of azidolysozyme [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics, 2021
The spectroscopic response of and structural dynamics around all azido-modified alanine residues (AlaN3) in lysozyme are characterized. It is found that AlaN3 is a positionally sensitive probe for the local dynamics, covering a frequency range of ∼15 cm−1 for the center frequency of the line shape.

Kesesuaian Lahan untuk Tembakau di Madura dengan Menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis

open access: yesJurnal Fisika Flux, 2017
Rainfed area causes utilization of Madura’s land less optimum. The aim of this research is to make a map of agroecosystem that potentially in agriculture by using remote sensing, crop model development is based on the condition of land physically.

Electronic tuning of site-selectivity [PDF]

open access: yesNature Chemistry, 2012
Site-selective functionalizations of complex small molecules can generate targeted derivatives with exceptional step efficiency, but general strategies for maximizing selectivity in this context are rare. Here, we report that site-selectivity can be tuned by simply modifying the electronic nature of the reagents.

Spatially-Correlated Risk in Nature Reserve Site Selection. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
Establishing nature reserves protects species from land cover conversion and the resulting loss of habitat. Even within a reserve, however, many factors such as fires and defoliating insects still threaten habitat and the survival of species.

Generalist bird exhibits site‐dependent resource selection

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, 2021
Quantifying resource selection (an organism's disproportionate use of available resources) is essential to infer habitat requirements of a species, develop management recommendations, predict species responses to changing conditions, and improve our ...
