Site selection.

open access: yes, 2017
Abstract This chapter focuses on the importane of site selection for the optimum production of blackberries. Some factors associated with proper site selection, such as soil biological, physical and chemical properties, water sources, topography, climate and location, are also presented.

Selective Site Pacing:

Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, 2004
Selective site right ventricular pacing has been suggested as an approach to reduce the incidence of ventricular dysfunction and hopefully influence the morbidity resulting from traditional right ventricular apical pacing. Pacing from the right ventricular apex allows a stable ventricular rate, and together with atrial pacing and sensing, helps ...

Site selectivity of daunomycin

Biochemistry, 1994
We have reexamined the binding properties of the antitumor drug daunomycin using double-helical oligonucleotides 16 base pairs long that were designed to contain preferred binding sites for the drug. The preferred sites are contained in a six base pair core which is flanked on the 5' and 3' ends by tracts of adenines.

On the site selection diversity transmission

14th IEEE Proceedings on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2003. PIMRC 2003., 2004
We examine site selection diversity transmission (SSDT) for 3GPP WCDMA forward link by means of analytical tools. Hard handover (HHO), soft handover (SHO) and SSDT are compared by using the receiver bit error probability as a performance measure taking into account the effect of feedback bit errors as well as the shadow fading.

Selective pacing sites.

Minerva cardioangiologica, 2015
he right ventricular apex (RVA) has always been the most used pacing site, because it is easily accessible and provides a stable lead position with a low dislodgment rate. However, it is well-known that long-term right ventricular apical pacing may have deleterious effects on left ventricular function by inducing a iatrogenic left bundle branch block ...
