This paper presents the using speed fuzzy logic controller for six phase induction motor fed by six phase voltage source inverter. At first the models of SPIM, indirect field-oriented control and SPVSI are developed. After, the speed fuzzy logic controller is used to achieve robust performances against rotor resistance and moment of inertia variations.

Fault tolerant voltage source inverter to six phase indution motor

This paper presents a fault tolerant inverter fed six phase induction motor. A fault tolerant strategy based on the connection of a faulty inverter leg to other healthy inverter leg via additional triacs was considered. The solution proposed provides tolerance to both short circuit and open circuit faults by reconfiguring the converter topology.
