Photogrammetric Reconstruction of 3D Human Anatomical Structures and Augmented Reality via Smartphone Technology

open access: yesClinical Anatomy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Limited access to cadavers necessitates the availability of digital resources for anatomy education. Smartphone‐based photogrammetry offers a promising solution for creating three‐dimensional (3D) and augmented reality (AR) models. This study compared two mobile photogrammetry applications (Qlone and Polycam) that have been used in modern ...

Tetradecanuclear {Ni9Ln5} Clusters Featuring Encapsulated {Ln5} Trigonal Bipyramids: Modular 3d‐4f Architectures With Broad‐Range Magnetocaloric Response

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The use of 2‐aminoisobutyric acid in 3d–4f chemistry affords three {Ni₉Ln5} clusters, with the Gd analogue exhibiting an unusually broad magnetocaloric effect across an extended temperature range. ABSTRACT The solvothermal reaction between Ni(HCOO)2.2H2O, 2‐aminoisobutyric acid (aibH), Ln(OAc)3·4H2O (Ln = Gd, Y, Dy) and NEt3 in MeOH/MeCN affords the ...

Research progress and current status of dynamic wave propagation characteristics in rock mass: A review

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
This review elucidates the velocity–dispersion–attenuation coupling mechanisms of wave propagation in rock masses, compares six representative models, and reveals how pressure, temperature, mineral composition, and anisotropy jointly control dynamic responses in complex geological media.

Advances in vital‐sign prediction and early‐warning models for underground coal mine workers integrating environmental factors

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
This review synthesizes advances in predicting miners' vital signs by integrating environmental monitoring (dust, temperature, and gas) with physiological data. It highlights multi‐source data fusion techniques and early‐warning models for enhanced occupational safety in underground coal mines.

Prevalence of Palatally Displaced Canines and Their Association with Dental and Skeletal Anomalies: A Retrospective Study

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Maxillary canines have a vital importance in the dental arches, both esthetically and functionally. They are the second most frequently impacted teeth, with palatal impaction being the most common.

Identification of novel genes regulating the development of the palate

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) has generated thousands of knockout mouse lines, many of which exhibit embryonic or perinatal lethality. Using micro‐computed tomography (micro‐CT), the IMPC has created and publicly released three‐dimensional image data sets of embryos from these lethal and subviable lines.
