(Skew) Filters in Residuated Skew Lattic [PDF]
In this paper, we show the relationship between (skew) deductive system and (skew) filter in residuated skew lattices. It is shown that if a residuated skew lattice is conormal, then any skew deductive system is a skew filter under a condition and deductive system and skew deductive system are equivalent under some conditions too.

On mixtures of skew normal and skew $$t$$ -distributions [PDF]
Finite mixture of skew distributions have emerged as an effective tool in modelling heterogeneous data with asymmetric features. With various proposals appearing rapidly in the recent years, which are similar but not identical, the connections between them and their relative performance becomes rather unclear.

Zero forcing is a process that colors the vertices of a graph blue by starting with some vertices blue and applying a color change rule. Throttling minimizes the sum of the number of initial blue vertices and the time to color the graph. In this paper, we study throttling for skew zero forcing.

De-Skewing LiDAR Scan for Refinement of Local Mapping
Simultaneous localization and mapping have become a basic requirement for most automatic moving robots. However, the LiDAR scan suffers from skewing caused by high-acceleration motion that reduces the precision in the latter mapping or classification ...

Influence of skewing design for reduction of force ripples in DSL-SynRM using 3D FEA
Double Sided Linear Synchronous Reluctance Motors (DSL-SynRM) are being increasingly used in high force density applications. The force ripples are one of the major issue in machine which is due to nonlinear nature of current in the machines.

The Ca2+-permeable mechanosensitive (MS) channel is a mechanical stress sensor. We previously reported that Arabidopsis MCA1 and its paralog MCA2 functioned individually as Ca2+-permeable MS channels.

Integrated expression profiles of mRNA and miRNA in polarized primary murine microglia. [PDF]
Neuroinflammation contributes to many neurologic disorders including Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke. Microglia is brain resident myeloid cells and have emerged as a key driver of the neuroinflammatory responses.
