Shallow-water skimming, skipping and rebound problems [PDF]
The subject of water-entry related problems has a wide range of applications in industries and natural sciences. In this thesis we study the dynamics of a solid body slamming, skimming, rebounding or sinking in shallow water. We reconcile and extend some

Cancer vaccines face limitations in pancreatic cancer due to insufficient tumor antigens. This ionic liquid ILvax via local tumor delivery triggers robust cDC1‐dependent systemic anti‐tumor immunity. It boosts endogenous CD8+ T cells and optimizes adoptive TCR‐T function, providing a promising synergistic therapeutic strategy.

Fibrotic liver stiffness activates hepatic stellate cells through Piezo1‐dependent calcium influx and ER stress, promoting EV‐associated GMFG release. Delivered GMFG engages TNS4 in pancreatic cancer cells, triggering FAK/AKT signaling, adhesion, and fatty acid synthesis.

CHCHD10 loss in Alzheimer's disease is associated with mitochondrial dysfunction, epigenomic disruption, and tau pathology. Restoration of CHCHD10 shifts DNA methylation toward a non‐disease state and reduces tau and amyloid pathology, with KATNAL2 acting as a downstream effector.

Significance of plasma skimming and plasma volume expansion
The organs associated with plasma volume expansion, i.e., the red bone marrow, the enlarged spleen, and the uteroplacental complex, are arteriovenous shunts with an interposed sinusoidal stroma able to skim off plasma-rich blood.

THBS1+ Macrophages Exacerbate Modic Changes via SDC4‐Dependent Activation of NLRP3 Inflammasome
The illustration of THBS1+ macrophages exacerbate MCs via SDC4‐dependent activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. THBS1+ macrophage subpopulation was identified in MCs through single‐cell RNA sequencing. C. acnes and its metabolites activate THBS1 expression in macrophages via the TLR signaling pathway.

Drag-reducing polymers (DRPs) significantly increase blood flow, tissue perfusion, and tissue oxygenation in various animal models. In rectangular channel microfluidic systems, DRPs were found to significantly reduce the near-wall cell-free layer (CFL ...

Slc44a2 Deficiency Unveils an IFN‐I–Dependent Feedback Control of pDC Egress
Working model of SLC44A2‐mediated maintenance of pDC homeostasis. This model illustrates two central mechanisms by which SLC44A2 regulates pDC homeostasis: (1) SLC44A2 limits IFN‐I production by exporting amino acids (T, N, Q), thereby preventing spontaneous pDC activation.

Experimental Investigations of Air Entrainment in Transition and Skimming Flows down a Stepped Chute: Application to Embankment Overflow Stepped Spillways [PDF]
Stepped spillways have been used for about 3,500 years. The last few decades have seen the development of new construction materials, design techniques and applications : e.g., embankment overtopping protection systems.

In‐Sensor Computing by Soft Threshold Logic Gates Under Different Humidity Conditions
Soft nanocomposite materials, based on gold cluster‐assembled thin films implanted in polydimethylsiloxane substrate, can perform reliable processing in ambient environmental conditions. Humidity influences the resistive switching and computational capabilities of the nanocomposites, that can be used as multifunctional material combining sensing ...
