An Arthroscopic Technique for Hybrid Double‐Row Repair Using a Cancellous Screw and Washer for Enhanced Lateral‐Row Fixation in Osteoporotic Massive Rotator Cuff Tears With Long‐Head Biceps Augmentation

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Massive rotator cuff tears in osteoporotic bone often fail because of many factors, including poor anchor fixation. We present an arthroscopic hybrid double‐row repair technique using a unicortical cancellous screw and washer for lateral‐row fixation, combined with biceps superior capsular reconstruction.

Efficacy and safety of empagliflozin for treating neutropenia and neutrophil dysfunction in paediatric patients with glycogen storage disease type Ib: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aims Glycogen storage disease type Ib (GSD‐Ib) is a rare genetic disorder causing neutropenia and neutrophil dysfunction in children. G‐CSF has been the primary treatment, but emerging data support the potential of empagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, as a promising investigational option.

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Biomaterials for modulating cellular responses of endogenous tendon stem/progenitor cells: A promising avenue for tendon regeneration

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
This review comprehensively summarizes emerging biomaterial‐based strategies and underlying mechanisms for modulating endogenous tendon stem/progenitor cells (TSPCs). It offers the most recent insights into TSPC physiology and potential applications of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in tendons.
