Magnesium‐Based Transient Bioelectronics, Bio‐Optics and Bio‐Scaffolds
This paper reviews the state of the art and recent advances in magnesium‐based thin‐film, foils, and scaffolds for applications in transient bio‐optics, bioelectronics and tissue engineering. The design principles, fabrication methods, material properties, and integration strategies are discussed in detail.

Bright and Durable Copper‐Iodide‐Based Nanowire Scintillators
A surface‐protective‐agent (SPA)‐coordinated low‐temperature crystallization strategy regulates the surface microenvironment of CsCu2I3 nanowires at the atomic level. The SPA simultaneously suppresses iodine‐vacancy‐related defects and nonradiative recombination while eliminating Cu2+ species and surface oxide formation, offering a coherent pathway to ...

The miniaturization of metrology and precision spectroscopy systems requires robust, turn‐key microcombs with broad bandwidth, low threshold, and high efficiency. Here, high‐Q, dispersion‐engineered microresonators in a high‐confinement nonlinear SiC platform, combined with waveguide‐enabled thermal management and laser cooling, enable deterministic ...

Controlling Collective Quasiparticle Dynamics Beyond Decoherence in Topological Interfaces
Gold nanoparticles placed above a deformed honeycomb plasmonic crystal couple to a chiral topological interface mode. The pseudospin‐split bands ψ+/ ψ− encode spin‐momentum locking, so emitters radiate directionally along the domain wall and share a common phase.

Epitaxial ZnO/LiNbO3/ZnO stacked layer waveguide for application to thin-film Pockels sensors
We produced slab waveguides consisting of a LiNbO3 (LN) core layer that was sandwiched with Al-doped ZnO cladding layers. The ZnO/LN/ZnO stacked layers were grown on sapphire C-planes by electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma sputtering and were ...

ABSTRACT Ultrathin, lightweight, and mechanically compliant electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields are increasingly required for high‐frequency electronic devices. However, conventional metallic shields predominantly rely on conductivity‐driven reflection mechanisms, which become ineffective at reduced thickness and may cause severe secondary ...

Low eigenvalues of the p$p$–Laplacian in general open sets
Abstract We consider the minmax Ljusternik–Schnirelmann levels of the constrained p$p$–Dirichlet integral on a general open set of the Euclidean space. We show that, whenever one of these levels lies below the threshold given by the Lp$L^p$ Poincaré constant “at infinity,” it actually defines an eigenvalue of the Dirichlet p$p$–Laplacian. We also prove

Design and analysis of a 2D photonic crystal based parallelogram-shaped cavity with open corners for optical switching [PDF]
In this paper, we designed a 2×2 optical switch using a two- dimensional photonic crystal (2D PC) based on interference principle. For the first time, an air-hole slab-structure-based photonic switch is proposed.

Vortex Light Bullets Guided by Disclination Defects
A new class of stable and thresholdless light bullets carrying vorticity, guided by the disclination defects introduced into Su–Schrieffer–Heeger‐like lattices with a focusing cubic nonlinearity, is reported. Different discrete rotational symmetry of the aperiodic lattice determines the allowed values of the topological charge of the vortex bullets ...
