Slang in saussurean study of language
Saussurean theory of language should not be separated from his lessons about geographical linguistics which are in the fourth part of the Course in General Linguistics. These lessons should be considered with reference to Saussure’s surveys about vernacular romand and chablaisian speech. Slang words were found in handwritten notes.
