Hypercodes in deterministic and slender 0L languages

open access: yesInformation and Control, 1980
In an infinite sequence of words over a finite alphabet some word must be embedded in a later word. In a D0L sequence such an embedding leads to a decomposition of the language into a finite language and a finite number of DOL languages for which the associated sequences are embedding chains.

Recognition of Linear-Slender Context-Free Languages by Real Time One-Way Cellular Automata [PDF]

open access: yesLecture Notes in Computer Science, 2015
A linear-slender context-free language is a context-free language whose number of words of length n is linear in n. Its structure has been finely characterized in a work of Ilie, Rozenberg and Salomaa. Thanks to this characterization, we show that every linear-slender context-free language is recognizable by a real time one-way cellular automaton.

COST-EFF: Collaborative Optimization of Spatial and Temporal Efficiency with Slenderized Multi-exit Language Models

open access: yesProceedings of the 2022 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing, 2022
Transformer-based pre-trained language models (PLMs) mostly suffer from excessive overhead despite their advanced capacity. For resource-constrained devices, there is an urgent need for a spatially and temporally efficient model which retains the major capacity of PLMs.

Early Clinical, Imaging, and Pathological Characteristics of SRPK3/TTN‐Digenic Myopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy was recently established as a skeletal muscle myopathy caused by digenic inheritance. This study characterizes the early clinical presentation of SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy in one previously reported and seven newly identified pediatric patients.
