Discrete-time quasi-sliding mode control of underwater vehicles
This paper presents a novel discrete-time quasi-sliding mode controller for the multiple-input multiple-output underwater vehicle system. First, according property of slow time-varying dynamics system, an on-line estimation method is used to eliminate ...

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...

Sliding-mode-based robust output regulation and its application in PMSM servo systems
A robust output regulation of a control system aims at disturbance rejection and reference tracking in the presence of uncertainties. Technically, the control design contains two mechanisms: the compensation of nontrivial steady states caused by ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...

Speed Control by Sliding Mode of Synchronous Motor
This paper presents the results of a simulation for synchronous motor speed control using a Direct Torque Control (DTC). This technique was object of a deep study for synchronous motor drives instead of precise closed loop speed control.
