Guaranteeing service availability in cloud computing

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2014
A sliding window based resource reservation (SWRR) algorithm was proposed, in which a window is defined as the proportion of the reserved resources among all.

Radar target shape recognition using a gated recurrent unit based on RCS time series' statistical features by sliding window segmentation

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2021
The radar cross section (RCS) is an important parameter that reflects the scattering characteristics of radar targets. Based on the monostatic radar RCS time series' statistical features by sliding window segmentation, a novel sliding window‐statistical ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Measurement of Mobile Switching Centres Throughput in GSM Network Integrating Sliding Window Algorithm with a Single Server Finite Queuing Model

open access: yesJournal of Computer Networks and Communications, 2016
The sliding window algorithm proposed for determining an optimal sliding window does not consider the waiting times of call setup requests of a mobile station in queue at a Mobile Switching Centre (MSC) in the Global System for Mobile (GSM) Communication

Monte Carlo Optimization for Sliding Window Size in Dixon Quality Control of Environmental Monitoring Time Series Data

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Outliers are often present in large datasets of water quality monitoring time series data. A method of combining the sliding window technique with Dixon detection criterion for the automatic detection of outliers in time series data is limited by the ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Performance testing for the sensitivity and resolution of low-pass WGS for small CNV detection

open access: yesBMC Medical Genomics
Background Low-pass genome sequencing (LP GS) has been widely used for the detection of copy number variations (CNVs). As a key algorithmic parameter of LP GS, window selection may influence the performance of LP GS.
