It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Study of the slippage of particle / supercritical CO2 two-phase flow [PDF]
In this paper, the slippage velocity and displacement between particles and supercritical CO2 (SC-CO2) were studied to reveal the particle-SC-CO2 two-phase flow behavior.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Optimum Winding Tension and Nip-load into Wound Webs for Protecting Wrinkles and Slippage
This paper describes the novel optimization method of wind-up tension to prevent wound roll defects, mainly star defect (wrinkling) and telescoping (slippage), based on the optimum design technique.

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Trace additions of Sn and Sr combined with a two‐step aging treatment are shown to enhance the microstructure and performance of Al–Zr–Sc conductor alloys. Strength and electrical conductivity increase concurrently through accelerated precipitation of fine Al3(Sc, Zr) precipitates and improved dislocation resistance, offering a cost‐effective pathway ...

Power circulation in driveline system when the wheels of tractor and trailer are driven
In off-road “tractor–trailer” vehicle combinations, the trailer can be equipped with one or more driving wheels. The distinguishing feature of vehicles with two or more driving axles is distribution of total power between the driving wheels.

PERFORMANCE OF CORN SOWING IN FERTILIZATION SYSTEM AND INTERCROPPING [PDF]
The performance of the tractor-seeder can be influenced by factors related to the seeder, as loads and crop. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the performance of tractor-seeder at sowing in the corn crop in function of the fertilizer systems ...

Deep Saturated Free Electron Laser Oscillators and Frozen Spikes [PDF]
We analyze the behavior of Free Electron Laser (FEL) oscillators operating in the deep saturated regime and point out the formation of sub-peaks of the optical pulse. They are very stable configurations, having a width corresponding to a coherence length.
