Effect of Boundary Slippage on Foul Release
2014Boundary slippages occur on shearless solid surfaces. This property is related to fluid and solid surface properties. The special boundary condition provides a high flow velocity at the liquid–solid interface, which renders drag reduction characteristic and less foul adhesion at the surface.

Impurity Effects on the Slippage of Nonsuperfluid Helium Films
Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 2002We measured the mechanical response of 4He films adsorbed on an oscillating substrate with a small amount of N2 molecules using an ultrasonic technique. Compared with the substrate with no N2 molecules, it was found that nonsuperfluid 4He films undergo slipping at lower temperature.

Slippage Effect During Gassed Oil Displacement
Energy Sources, 1996The filtration of gassed liquid in the oil-bearing layer at a pressure value above that of the bubble-point pressure is examined. It is shown that behavior of this system may be explained by the slippage effect. Models that may be used in the virtual calculations are proposed.

Phase slippage, nonadiabatic effect, and dynamics of a source of traveling waves
Physical Review Letters, 1993Experimental studies of the source dynamics of counterpropagating waves in a convecting binary fluid are presented. The source motion is controlled by side heating. There exists a locking band inside which the source is pinned by the underlying roll structure. Outside this band the source commences to move abruptly by steps of half a wavelength.
