Striation-Based Beamforming with Two-Dimensional Filtering for Suppressing Tonal Interference

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2023
Based on the interference spectrogram in the element–frequency domain using the data measured by the horizontal linear array, the source range can be estimated through the striation-based beamforming (SBF) method and its variants.

Simple slope compensator for Ku-band applications.

open access: yes, 1997
The present paper describes a simple circuital solution for a slope compensation function to be used in an amplification chain when it is necessary to recover for both fast ripple and slope variation occurred within the whole bandwidth. The circuit has been studied and developed mainly for Ku-Band applications and has been implemented in MMIC form ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Slope Compensation and Bifurcation in a DC-DC, Single-Input, Multiple-Output, CMOS Integrated Converter Under Current-Mode and Comparator-Based Hybrid Control

open access: yesJournal of Low Power Electronics and Applications
Single-Input, Multi-Output (SIMO) converters present significant challenges when operated under current-mode control, due to their strongly non-linear dynamics and susceptibility to bifurcation phenomena. To mitigate the effects on the converter’s steady-

Monitoring Errors of Semi-Mechanized Coffee Planting by Remotely Piloted Aircraft

open access: yesAgronomy, 2021
Mechanized operations on terrain slopes can still lead to considerable errors in the alignment and distribution of plants. Knowing slope interference in semi-mechanized planting quality can contribute to precision improvement in decision making, mainly ...

Slope‐compensated interferogram filter with ESPRIT for adaptive frequency estimation

open access: yesIET Image Processing, 2019
Interferometric phase filtering represents an indispensable step in interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) data processing. However, conventional filtering methods fail to make a balance between the noise elimination and phase preserving in strong noise environments or dense fringe regions.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.
