Advances in Researches on Slope Gradient Factor in Soil Erosion

open access: yesShuitu baochi yanjiu, 2008
Slope gradient is the main factor affecting soil erosion.Researches on slope gradient can be divided into two categories: effects of slope gradient and critical slope degree on soil erosion intensity.Based on reviewing research history of slope gradient ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Effects of Continuous Rainfall and Runoff under Different Slope Conditions on Hillslope Soil Erosion in the Black Soil Region

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao
[Objective] To investigate the characteristics of rill erosion on slopes under different slope gradients and rainfall-runoff conditions. [Methods] Continuous simulated rainfall and upper slope inflow tests were conducted to study the erosion processes on

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Effect of Discharge and Slope Gradient on Colluvial Deposits Erosion in Benggang

open access: yesShuitu baochi yanjiu, 2014
The colluvial deposits is an important part of Benggang, which has the characteristics of loose texture, high content of coarse particle, large slope gradient and high erosivity.

Characteristics of Soil Erosion in Guangxi Based on CSLE

open access: yesShuitu baochi yanjiu, 2020
Guangxi is one of the major regions with karst distribution, and the soil erosion in this region is very serious. According to the First National Water Census, we calculated and analyzed the characteristics of soil erosion in different land uses and ...

Effects of rainfall and the slope gradient on the soil and water loss in a purple soil area

open access: yesSoil and Water Research, 2022
Soil and water losses in purple soil area is becoming an increasingly severe problem, bringing enormous challenges to environmental protection in rural areas. In this study, simulated rainfall experiments were conducted to analyse the effects of rainfall

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.
