Rock Slopes Stability Analysis along the Qaywan-Mokba Road in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Northeastern Iraq

The current study includes an evaluation of rock slope stability along the Qaywan Mountain (anticline) main road 20 km north of Sulaimani City, which is considered an important task due to the effect of slope instability on human lives.

Bidang diskontinuitas pada lereng di ruas jalan Tawaeli-Toboli KM 42-52 dapat menjadi bidang lemah yang memicu longsoran, di antaranya longsoran guling. Longsoran guling dapat terjadi pada blok tunggal yang menghasilkan jatuhan blok batuan (rockfall) dan dapat terjadi pada massa batuan yang diikuti perpindahan volume blok batuan yang besar.
