Jože Stabej's Slovenian-Latin dictionary is a reverse dictionary based on a Latin-Slovenian manuscript dictionary compiled by Matija Kastelec and Gregor Vorenc between 1680 and 1710. It bridges the gap between Megiser's two dictionaries (1592, 1603) and Alasij's dictionary (1607) on the one hand, and Pohlin's dictionary (1781) on the other.
