Frequency-domain criteria of robust stability for slowly time-varying systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1995The problem of stability of feedback systems with structured slowly time-varying uncertain gains is considered. For the case when the pair "uncertain gain/derivative" belongs to a given convex set, a sufficient frequency-domain condition of stability is obtained.

An Extended Synchronization Method to Identify Slowly Time-Varying Parameters in Nonlinear Systems
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2018A synchronization observer is proposed to identify any given nonlinear systems with slowly time-varying parameters. In the process of parameter identification, the existing synchronization method (SM) provides the parameter estimations continuously in a small updating rate to obtain two state memories.

Frequency Domain Identification of Linear Slowly Time-Varying Systems
2007The framework of LTI (Linear Time Invariant) systems has shown to provide good approximating models for a large amount of real-life dynamic systems. However, the assumption of time invariance is not always satisfied for some applications: systems with a varying set point (e.g. flight flutter analysis) or systems with varying parameters (e.g.

Model reference adaptive control of slowly time-varying parabolic distributed parameter systems
Proceedings of 1994 33rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002The model reference adaptive control for a class of slowly time-varying distributed parameter systems is considered. An adaptive controller based upon the unknown (slowly time-varying) parameters together with the update laws for the unknown parameters are given.

Estimating the Instantaneous FRF of Slowly Time-Varying Systems
2008Before identifying a dynamic system in general, or a linear time-varying system in particular, any qualitative information about the system's dynamic behaviour is always welcome. This poster proposes a non-parametric method for extracting information about the instantaneous dynamics of a slowly time-varying system.

Recursive subspace model identification algorithms for slowly time-varying systems in closed loop
2007 European Control Conference (ECC), 2007This paper concerns subspace model identification of slowly time-varying systems operating in closed loop. Recursive MOESP-type closed loop subspace model identification algorithms are developed. The key technique of derivation of the proposed algorithms is the Hessenberg QR algorithm.

Estimating the Input/Output Measurement Noise of Linear, Slowly Time-varying Systems
2007This poster proposes a methodology for estimating the power spectrum of the disturbing noise associated with input/output measurements of linear, slowly time-varying systems. Multisine excitations are shown to be very helpful for this task. The method circumvents repeated measurements, which are, for time-varying systems, usually difficult to execute ...
