Strong limit theorems for anisotropic self-similar fields
Our paper starts from presentation and comparison of three definitions for the self-similar field. The interconnection between these definitions has been established.

A Survey on Sharp Oscillation Conditions of Differential Equations with Several Delays
This paper deals with the oscillation of the first-order differential equation with several delay arguments x′t+∑i=1mpitxτit=0,t≥t0, where the functions pi,τi∈Ct0,∞,R+, for every i=1,2,…,m,τit≤t for t≥t0 and limt→∞τit=∞.

Efficient discovery of multiple minimum action pathways using Gaussian process
We present a new efficient transition pathway search method based on the least action principle and the Gaussian process regression method. Most pathway search methods developed so far rely on string representations, which approximate a transition ...

Experimental Comparison between Event and Global Shutter Cameras
We compare event-cameras with fast (global shutter) frame-cameras experimentally, asking: “What is the application domain, in which an event-camera surpasses a fast frame-camera?” Surprisingly, finding the answer has been difficult.

ANALYSIS OF POSSIBLE CAUSES AND MECHANISMS OF DESTRUCTION OF BUILDING STRUCTURES
In order to better understand the wave properties of the Timoshenko equation, the derivation of the refined equation from the equations of the plane elasticity problem for a long band is carried out.

Slowly Varying Solutions of Functional Differential Equations with Retarded and Advanced Arguments [PDF]
Abstract Regularity, in the sense of Karamata, (with nonoscillation as a consequence) and the precise asymptotic behaviour of solutions of two functional differential equations are studied.

ABSTRACT Introduction Adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) carries substantial mortality. The role of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) remains uncertain. Methods We retrospectively analyzed patients with AOSD‐MAS treated with TPE at a single‐center.

A method of approximate potential is presented for the study of certain kinds of strongly nonlinear oscillators. This method is to express the potential for an oscillatory system by a polynomial of degree four such that the leading approximation may be ...

A Brun-Titchmarsh inequality for weighted sums over prime numbers
We prove explicit upper bounds for weighted sums over prime numbers in arithmetic progressions with slowly varying weight functions. The results generalize the well-known Brun-Titchmarsh inequality.Comment: 11 pages, to appear in Acta ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
