Prediction of slug frequency in horizontal two‐phase slug flow
AIChE Journal, 1990AbstractAvailable data on slug frequency in horizontal two‐phase intermittent flow are predicted with adequate accuracy by assuming that the slug frequency is one half of the frequency of the unstable waves precursors of slugs, as determined according to published analyses of finite amplitude waves in conduits.
