Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design

Ultra‐Flexible Dual‐Band Organic Photodetectors for Visible and Near‐Infrared Sensing
An ultra‐flexible dual‐band organic photodetector with a total thickness of 5.6 µm for bio‐sensing is developed. It selectively detects visible and near‐infrared light with high sensitivity by switching the voltage. Peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) measurement is demonstrated using the device attached to a finger under a single light source by ...

ABSTRACT The lithium plating reaction in graphite electrodes acts as a root cause for the accelerated degradation and the internal short circuits in lithium‐ion batteries. Here, an electrochemical model based on multi‐scale microstructural images was established to identify lithium plating‐stripping processes, thereby supporting the predictive outcomes

CFD Prediction of Erosion Wear in Centrifugal Slurry Pumps for Dilute Slurry Flows [PDF]
The paper discusses numerical prediction of erosion wear trends in centrifugal pump casing pumping dilute slurries. The casing geometry is considered two-dimensional. Discrete Phase Model (DPM) in FLUENT 6.1® is utilized to obtain dilute slurry flow field through the pump casing employing two-way coupling.

ABSTRACT Current prostate cancer detection methods remain limited in non‐invasiveness and specificity, prompting interest in urinary biomarkers such as sarcosine. Here, we report a urine‐powered wearable platform for non‐invasive sarcosine detection as a proof‐of‐concept for decentralized early warning.
