Small-Signal Model of LLC LED Driver

2018 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting (IAS), 2018
This paper presents the small-signal model of the full-bridge LLC LED driver for system analysis. By using the Taylor series model, a V-I curve lookup table is generated to model the LED. The LED array can be built by a simple equivalent circuit composed of one LED model and two dependence sources for circuit simulation.

A new SEPIC inverter: Small signal modeling

IECON 2013 - 39th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2013
This paper presents a new inverter technology that is designed based on SEPIC converter. Small signal model and transfer functions of the inverter are obtained. The system demonstrates the existence of a non-minimum phase zero in positive peak and shift of that zero to left half plane to make the negative peak transfer function a minimum phase behavior.

Small-signal dynamic modeling of HVDC systems

IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2002
This paper details the development of a linear continuous-time state model of the small-signal dynamics of a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system. The dynamics in the frequency range between 2 and 200 Hz on the DC side are of interest for the identification of possible stability problems and the design of the fastest level of ...

Small signal modeling and analysis of synchronverters

2015 IEEE 2nd International Future Energy Electronics Conference (IFEEC), 2015
Synchronverters are inverters that mimic the synchronous generators. The synchronverter can be easily operated in both island mode and on-grid mode, which is very suitable for the Micro-grid. A new method to get the small signal model of the synchronverter is proposed in this paper.

Small signal modeling of the MOSOS capacitor

IEEE SOS/SOI Technology Conference, 2003
Summary form only given. The high-frequency small-signal sinusoidal steady-state response of the 2-terminal MOSOS (metal-oxide-silicon-oxide-silicon) capacitor is solved numerically using perturbation analysis of the basic semiconductor equations. The model includes the effects of a floating semiconductor region, interface traps and nonuniform doping ...

Modeling and Derivation of Small Signal Model for Grid-Connected Inverters

2020
With the development of new energy power generation technology, more and more regions are increasing the construction of new energy power generation facilities. However, due to the unstable factors in the source of new energy, the traditional modeling methods require a lot of work.

Small-signal modeling of graphene barristors

Physica E: Low-dimensional Systems and Nanostructures, 2015
Abstract This paper presents a small-signal model for graphene barristor, a promising device for the future nanoelectronics industry. Because of the functional similarities to the conventional FET transistors, the same configuration and parameters, as those of FETs, are assumed for the model.

Small-Signal Modeling for Phase-Shift Controlled Resonant Converters

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2021
The extended describing function (EDF) method is widely used in modeling the resonant converters. This article finds that the model of the phase-shift controlled resonant converter deduced by this method might be inaccurate especially when the duty-cycle is close to 1. The reason behind it is investigated, showing that derivation of the inverter bridge

A new approach to model nonquasi-static (NQS) effects for mosfets-part II: small-signal analysis

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 2003
We present a new approach to model nonquasi-static (NQS) effects in a MOSFET in a small-signal situation. The model derived here is based on the large-signal NQS model previously proposed. The derivation of the small-signal model is presented.

Small-signal nonlinear modeling of television IOTs

IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, 2002
The inductive output tube (IOT) is a high power vacuum tube amplifier popularly used in UHF television broadcasting. A small-signal nonlinear model is presented for the IOT. Several simplifying assumptions are made to make the proposed model more tractable mathematically. Component values are then assigned to this simplified model based on measured IOT
