Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Chinese Expert Consensus on Assessment and Clinical Application of
Tertiary Lymphoid Structure for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (2025 Version)

open access: yesChinese Journal of Lung Cancer
The tertiary lymphoid structure (TLS) plays a crucial role in the tumor microenvironment, influencing tumor development and progression. As an emerging biomarker for predicting the prognosis and treatment response in cancer patients, TLS has received ...

Comparison of platinum and non-platinum based regimens in the treatment of small cell lung cancer

open access: yes, 2023
Small cell lung cancer, and lung cancer in general, remains one of the most impactful public health issues in the modern age due to its high morbidity and mortality.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

External validation of pathological T adjustments in the ninth edition of the pleural mesothelioma tumor-node-metastasis classification

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology
IntroductionIn the ninth edition pleural mesothelioma (PM) pathological (p) T staging, patients with fissural invasion are upgraded from T1 to T2. This study aimed to externally validate this staging modification.MethodsResected pT1/2 PM patients were ...

Unlocking biomarker discovery: Large scale application of aptamer proteomic technology for early detection of lung cancer

open access: yes, 2010
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths, because ~84% of cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage. Worldwide in 2008, ~1.5 million people were diagnosed and ~1.3 million died – a survival rate unchanged since 1960.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
