Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Function-based haptic interaction in cyberworlds

open access: yes, 2007
We seek to further expand the shared collaborative potential of cyberworlds by using haptic forcefeedback in shared virtual scenes. We propose how to define density of the objects, together with their geometry and appearance, by using mathematical ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

The role of interior design in finding design solutions to raise the functional efficiency of the service spaces (An analytical study of restaurants with limited space)

open access: yesJournal of Architecture, Art & Humanistic Science
In our modern times, the forms and ways of living have become different and our daily lifestyle so fast. Therefore, people spend less time on food and dressing. So many restaurants have been opened and spread rapidly around the world.

The effects of acute muscle damage and autoimmune disease on vascular function : the potential role of inflammation

open access: yes, 2009
textInflammation has been implicated in the development of cardiovascular disease and a potential underlying mechanism in the pathogenesis of impaired vascular function. Two different but complementary approaches were utilized to determine the role of

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
