Stress Transfer Within Microphase‐Separated Structures: A Post‐Synthetic Strategy to Impart Mechanoresponsiveness to Block Copolymer Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A domain‐engineered post‐functionalization strategy is presented to impart mechanochromism to styrene–butadiene–styrene (SBS) block copolymers by simple blending with a tetraarylsuccinonitrile (TASN) mechanophore‐containing polystyrene (PS‐TASN‐PS). The resulting materials exhibit reversible fluorescence under tensile deformation while preserving, or ...

Load-Sensitive Tire–Road Friction Modeling and Dynamic Stability Analysis of Multi-Axle Trucks

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study addresses the accurate estimation of safe driving speeds for multi-axle trucks negotiating curved road segments by explicitly incorporating dynamic axle load transfer and load-sensitive tire–road friction characteristics.

Smart mobility

open access: yes, 2019
Great people like Stephen Hawking and Max Brito have been suffering from this crippling phenomenon. Our project is an attempt to make lives of the physically challenged people by our extravagant project. We mean self-reliant, which will thereby reinstate their confidence and their happiness.

Wearable Morphology‐Adaptive in‐Ear Device With Active Cleansing Capability for Multimodal Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present SCIENCE, an in‐ear multimodal physiological monitor featuring two key innovations. Water‐triggered morphological expansion (a 2‐mm cylinder to a 9‐mm spindle) achieves conformal adaptation across complex canal geometries. Simultaneously, active biofouling mitigation disrupts cerumen barriers, reducing sensor‐skin impedance by 20%.

Robust Rotation Estimation Using Adaptive ROI Radon Transformation for Sonar Images

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Recent advances in forward-looking sonar (FLS) have enabled the acquisition of high-resolution acoustic images. However, the accuracy of image-based rotation estimation remains limited owing to speckle noise, perceptual ambiguity, and shadows.

Efficient Hydroxyl Diffusion Triggers Surface Hydronium Enrichment and Bulk Proton Participation to Boost Alkaline Hydrogen‐Evolving Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
For the first time, we shed light on the surface‐to‐bulk diffusion, induction, and reaction behaviors of OH−, H+, and H2O species on model oxides for alkaline hydrogen‐evolving reaction (HER). We first demonstrate that bulk OH− diffusion significantly affects the generation of proton sources and the diffusion/reaction behaviors of protons, thus ...
