To profile or to marginalize - A SMEFT case study
Global SMEFT analyses have become a key interpretation framework for LHC physics, quantifying how well a large set of kinematic measurements agrees with the Standard Model. This agreement is encoded in measured Wilson coefficients and their uncertainties. A technical challenge of global analyses are correlations. We compare, for the first time, results

Triple-gauge couplings in LHC diboson production: a SMEFT view from every angle
This study explores fully leptonic WZ and WW production at the LHC within the SMEFT framework at NLO in QCD, focusing on both CP-even and CP-odd triple-gauge-coupling dimension-six operators.

A $$ {\mathbbm{CP}}^2 $$ SMEFT
Abstract An extension of the Standard Model is proposed, where the Higgs field is valued in the complex projective plane $$ {\mathbbm{CP}}^2 $$ CP 2 , rather than

Complete SMEFT predictions for four top quark production at hadron colliders

We point out that, although SMEFT is constructed to be model-independent, this holds only if complete sets of operators are used. SMEFT analyses that focus on subsets of operators are only semi-model-independent. They probe classes of ultraviolet models, opening a window to the underlying new physics.
