Household‐Based Epidemiology of Bovine Ixodid Tick Infestation and Associated Risk Factors in Endamehoni, Raya‐Azebo and Enderta Districts, Tigray Region, Northern Ethiopia

Tick infestation affected 41.5% of cattle in Tigray, with Rhipicephalus species predominating. Infestation was strongly associated with poor housing, poor body condition and management practices, whereas limited awareness of tick‐borne diseases highlights the need for targeted control strategies informed by species‐specific attachment‐site preferences.
