Antibiotic Sensitivity of Vibrio spp. and Shewanella algae Isolated From Brood and Egg of Mud Crab Hatchery

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Vibrio alginolyticus NBRC 15630, Vibrio parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802, Shewanella algae DW01, and Shewanella algae ATCC 51192 bacterial strains were found in the Mud crab brood and egg samples. All isolates were found to be sensitive to cefotaxime, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, and nitrofurantoin antibiotics.

Driving forbidden transitions in the fluxonium artificial atom

open access: yes, 2018
Atomic systems display a rich variety of quantum dynamics due to the different possible symmetries obeyed by the atoms. These symmetries result in selection rules that have been essential for the quantum control of atomic systems.

Bufalin‐Induced Epithelial‐to‐Mesenchymal Transition in Kidney Epithelial Cells

open access: yesCell Biology International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The kidney plays a central role in fluid, electrolyte, and blood pressure regulation, processes tightly coupled to Na⁺/K⁺‐ATPase activity. Beyond its canonical transport function, Na⁺/K⁺‐ATPase also acts as a signaling receptor for cardiotonic steroids (CTSs) such as bufalin, which have been implicated in fibrosis and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal
