Flow chat for the quantitative and qualitative profiles and the biological activities of T. violacea fruits and seeds. ABSTRACT Tulbaghia violacea is an established medicinal plant that is indigenous to southern Africa. All its plant parts have been profiled for their phytochemical constituents and medicinal potentials except for the seeds and fruits ...

The Hungarian meadow viper is an endangered grassland‐dwelling species, which faces high predation pressure, partially due to avian species that forage in its habitat. Predation pressure by avian predators is caused not only by abundant game species (e.g. hooded crow, Corvus cornix) but also by protected and threatened species (e.g.

SAAP‐148 oligomerizes into a hexamer forming a hydrophobic inner core
Human cathelicidin LL‐37 is a widely studied antimicrobial 37‐mer peptide with various ascribed functions, that serves as a template for designing novel peptides. Its derivative, the 24‐mer SAAP‐148, is highly effective in vitro in eradicating multidrug‐resistant bacteria, persistent cells, and biofilms, without inducing resistance.

Some properties of stable snakes [PDF]
We prove some technical results relating to the Brownian snake on a stable L\'evy tree. This includes some estimates on the range of the snake, estimates on its occupation measure around its minimum and also a proof of the fact that the snake and the height function of the associated tree have no common increase points.

Cluster algebras and snake modules [PDF]
Snake modules introduced by Mukhin and Young form a family of modules of quantum affine algebras. The aim of this paper is to prove that the Hernandez-Leclerc conjecture about monoidal categorifications of cluster algebras is true for prime snake modules of types $A_{n}$ and $B_{n}$. We prove that prime snake modules are real.

Pre‐oviposition development of the brown anole (Anolis sagrei)
Abstract Background The brown anole, Anolis sagrei, has emerged as a representative squamate species for developmental studies during the past decades. Novel functional tools have been established to manipulate embryogenesis through genome editing or the introduction of small molecule inhibitors, and their effective use requires a thorough ...

The CR geometry of the three-segment snake [PDF]
We study the geometry associated with the kinematics of a planar robot known as the "three-segment snake," whose velocity distribution belongs to a class of (2,3,5) distributions. We discover that, under certain assumptions on its construction parameters, the snake may be endowed with a CR structure of CR dimension 1 and real codimension 3.
