SnO2:Eu nanocrystallites in SnO2 monolithic xerogels

open access: yesChemical Physics Letters, 1992
Abstract By simple room temperature broad band time-resolved spectroscopy it was possible to discriminate different Eu3+ spectra in SnO2 monolithic gels obtained by a sol—gel synthetic route. Nanocrystalline domains of the cassiterite-like SnO2:Eu could be easily identified in the transparent medium.

Enhanced pseudocapacitive performance of SnO2, Zn-SnO2, and Ag-SnO2 nanoparticles

Ionics, 2018
Metal-doped tin oxide is gathering interest in the field of energy storage and power supply devices, particularly in supercapacitors applications. In the present study, we adopt a hydrothermal method to synthesis SnO2, Zn-SnO2, Ag-SnO2 nanoparticles at suitable conditions of temperature, pH, reaction time, and capping agents (CTAB).

Infrared studies on SnO2 and Pd/SnO2

Catalysis Today, 2001
Abstract The peculiarities of the IR studies of adsorption on semiconducting oxides are reviewed with special attention to SnO2. Absorption by free electrons is very strong in reducing atmospheres and well-defined conditions are required to get vibrational information on the nature of surface species.

Microstructure and structure of NiO–SnO2 and Fe2O3–SnO2 systems

Applied Surface Science, 2003
Abstract The microstructure and the structure of NiO–SnO 2 and Fe 2 O 3 –SnO 2 were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and adsorption analysis (BET). The segregation of Ni or Fe on the surface of SnO 2 was observed even in specimens with 30 mol% addition.
