Characterizations of SnO2 and SnO2:Sb thin films prepared by PECVD
Vacuum, 2004Abstract Structural characterizations of tin oxide (SnO 2 ) thin films, deposited by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD), were investigated with scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

Optical Properties of SnO2 and SnO2:F - An Experimental and Theoretical Approach
2019 7th International Engineering, Sciences and Technology Conference (IESTEC), 2019Thin films of SnO2 (TO) and SnO2: F (FTO) were prepared by spray pyrolysis technique on glass substrate. The UV-visible spectra show well-defined interference fringes and an average transmittance in the visible region of about 74 and 81% for TO and FTO, respectively.

Tailoring of highly porous SnO2 and SnO2-Pd thin films
Materials Chemistry and Physics, 2019Abstract Tin oxide is a material that attracts attention due to variety of technological applications. The main parameters that influence its properties are morphology, crystalline structure and stoichiometry. Researchers try to develop nanostructured thin films with tunable parameters that would conform its technological applications.

The gas-sensitivity properties of SnO2 thin films as well as Ag/SnO2 and SnO2/Ag structures in an atmosphere containing propane (C3H8) were examined. The SnO2 and Ag films were deposited by a spray pyrolysis technique and vacuum evaporation, respectively. Soda-lime glass was used as the substrate for all the structures in this study.

Abstract Catalysts based on natural zeolite – clinoptilolite loaded with either SnO2 (TOHCLI) or sulfated SnO2 (STOHCLI) were prepared and tested in the esterification of levulinic acid (LA) with octanol or ethanol. The Sn content in TOHCLI and STOHCLI varied from 4.5 to 12.3 wt.%.

Several nanocomposites of tin oxide with CuS, SnS or Cu@SnS were prepared and used to modify carbon paste electrodes (CPEs). The structure and morphology of the materials were studied by XRD and SEM techniques. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were applied to investigate their electrochemical properties.

Catalytic sites on SnO2 and TiO2&SnO2 for the isomerization of 1-butene
Journal of Catalysis, 1976The nature of active sites for the isomerization of 1-butene on SnO 2 and TiO 2 SnO 2 with various treatments has been studied. Over SnO 2 evacuated at 400–600 °C, a highly selective isomerization of 1-butene to cis -2-butene was observed ( cis-/trans -2-butene ≈19).

Electrooptical properties of SnO2 spray–GaSe and SnO2 spray–GaTe heterojunctions
Physica Status Solidi (a), 1978A new heterojunction using III-VI lamellar GaTe compound and SnO2 spray is fabricated. The study of I–U characteristics of GaSe–SnO2 and GaTe–SnO2 diodes versus temperature show strong analogy between the modes of conduction in both the devices. From the variation versus temperature of the space charge limited current part of the characteristic, trap ...

SnO2 reduction by hydrogen bombardment and its effect on SnO2/a-Si interfaces
Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1989Abstract Commercial SnO 2 and its interface with a-Si have been studied by photoemission. The valence band (V.B.) spectra show that in some regions of SnO 2 a large amount of metallic Sn is present. Similar V.B. spectra were obtained in good regions as a consequence of H bombardment.

Nanocrystalline SnO2 and In-doped SnO2 as anode materials for lithium batteries
Solid State Ionics, 2004Abstract SnO2 is one of the promising candidates for the use as anode materials in lithium batteries. This work describes the X-ray absorption near-edge spectra (XANES) and the electrochemical properties of nanocrystalline SnO2 and In-doped SnO2 via a soft chemistry route.
