SnO2:Eu nanocrystallites in SnO2 monolithic xerogels
Abstract By simple room temperature broad band time-resolved spectroscopy it was possible to discriminate different Eu3+ spectra in SnO2 monolithic gels obtained by a sol—gel synthetic route. Nanocrystalline domains of the cassiterite-like SnO2:Eu could be easily identified in the transparent medium.

Infrared studies on SnO2 and Pd/SnO2
Catalysis Today, 2001Abstract The peculiarities of the IR studies of adsorption on semiconducting oxides are reviewed with special attention to SnO2. Absorption by free electrons is very strong in reducing atmospheres and well-defined conditions are required to get vibrational information on the nature of surface species.

Enhanced pseudocapacitive performance of SnO2, Zn-SnO2, and Ag-SnO2 nanoparticles
Ionics, 2018Metal-doped tin oxide is gathering interest in the field of energy storage and power supply devices, particularly in supercapacitors applications. In the present study, we adopt a hydrothermal method to synthesis SnO2, Zn-SnO2, Ag-SnO2 nanoparticles at suitable conditions of temperature, pH, reaction time, and capping agents (CTAB).

Electron spectroscopic studies on films of SnO2 and SnO2:Sb
Surface and Coatings Technology, 1987Abstract Pure and antimony-doped SnO2 films have been deposited by two different techniques: metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MO-CVD) and spray pyrolysis of SnCl4 in the presence of air with different concentrations of antimony. X-ray and UV photoelectron spectroscopic studies have been carried out on these films and the combined data from ...

SnO2@MCC and SnO2@C Composites: Synthesis and Properties
Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2019A method is advanced to prepare SnO2@MCC composites in the course of hydrolysis of flax cellulose fiber by SnCl2-containing 10% aqueous nitric acid. The thus-prepared SnO2@MCC composites have a tin dioxide average crystallite size of 3.8 nm. SnO2@MCC pyrolysis under an inert atmosphere yield carbon composites SnO2@C and SnO2/Sn@C.

E-beam deposited SnO2, Pt–SnO2 and Pd–SnO2 thin films for LPG detection
Thin Solid Films, 1999Abstract The electron-beam evaporation method was used to deposit undoped and Pt (or Pd) doped SnO 2 thin films. After careful study of their physical properties, SnO 2 thin films with suitable growth conditions were selected for probing their response to LPG and other common household gases.

Surface Science Spectra, 1993
Tin and various tin compounds have wide utility in coatings, electronics, and catalysts, as well as having numerous biological applications. Distinguishing between different tin compounds on surfaces is an important aspect of research in many of these disciplines. In this work, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy has been used to obtain comparison spectra
